Terms of Service

Effective October 20, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and StratPilot, operated by Styles Renner in Texas, USA ("StratPilot", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using StratPilot (on this website or through an AI assistant connector), you agree to them.

1. What StratPilot is

StratPilot is a software tool that simulates trading strategies on historical NQ/MNQ futures market data and reports the hypothetical results. It is an educational and research tool.

2. Not investment advice

StratPilot does not provide investment, financial, trading, tax or legal advice, and nothing on the service is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, future or other instrument. We are not a broker, a registered investment adviser or a commodity trading advisor. You alone decide whether and how to trade, and you are responsible for those decisions.

3. Hypothetical results

All results are hypothetical, simulated performance and do not guarantee future results. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not involve real money, and can't fully account for real-world factors such as liquidity, slippage, fill quality, latency, data errors and the emotional pressure of trading. Optimized parameters are especially prone to overfitting. Market data may contain errors or gaps. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose more than your initial investment.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

6. Quotas and fair use

Plans have usage limits. Currently, free accounts get 20 backtests and 3 optimizations per day with 1 job at a time. Premium accounts get 200 backtests and 30 optimizations per day with 2 jobs at a time. The server runs one optimization at a time overall. We may change limits, queue or refuse jobs to keep the service available for everyone. Premium AI features are metered and may have additional limits. Billing is not live yet. If paid plans launch, prices and terms will be shown before you're charged.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the strategies you submit. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. Generated reports are yours to use, subject to section 3.

8. Third-party services

StratPilot works with third-party AI assistants (such as Claude and ChatGPT) and relies on providers like Cloudflare, Hetzner, OpenRouter and Databento. Their own terms govern your use of their services, and we're not responsible for them. See our Privacy Policy.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't warrant that results are accurate or complete, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StratPilot and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using StratPilot and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk, and we may discontinue the service. Where reasonable, we'll give notice. Sections 2, 3 and 9–14 survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we'll notify account holders in advance. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
